“Missing You”
1108's first short sets its narrative inside the suburbs of Northern Virginia in early summer 2020. As civil engagement and unrest grow in nearby DC a somber middle-aged man struggles to get over a woman he was never that close with.
She's Mine Now
Shot in in Arlington, Alexandria, and McLean, Virginia, with a cast and crew of over 40 people, the project is 1108's largest production to date. On September 9, 2022 the film premiered at the New York Shorts International Film Festival and has gone on to receive numerous accolades including "Best Director" at the Berlin Short Film Festival, "Best Actress" at the Cooper Awards, "Best Poster" at the Lily Film Awards and "Best Narrative Short" at the West Virginia Short Film Festival.
Island's Lounge
On Thursday nights in Wheaton, MD the Islands Lounge restaurant and bar transforms into a stage for local and national comedic talent.
Hyde Fashion
1108 recently collaborated with the local fashion house to create a 60-second commercial and accompanying stills for the brand's marketing.
Second Servings
Second Servings is a Virginia-based female-operated non-profit that seeks to spread awareness on a variety of local, state, national and international issues.
Amulet
Amulet is a DC-based dark alternative rock band founded by bassist MJ Phoenix and vocalist Stephanie Stryker. Since 2021, 1108 has created a variety of still and video media for the band's marketing.
Southern Road Trip
In March of 2021 we took a road trip from Falls Church, VA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL - gathering photos and video along the way.
